    1. I use a LOGAN-Cutter. It is easy and cuts through soft (and cheap) cardboard like through butter (if you are not to closefisted with the blades and change them sometimes…).

      A frame enhances even a dull sujet somehow. I paint the frames with a mixture of an acryl colour and white glue (which becomes transparent at the end). Putted thickly onto the cardboard, one can draw same patterns with a comb or rows of wooden dental sticks which I buy at Migros and are themselves beautiful items… Oh and it is easier to paint the cardboard before cutting because you have to have strong nerves to keep the margins white – nerves you probably have as an experienced aquarellist.
